Distance, the fourth release from A Little Fire Scarecrow, takes the listener on an emotional journey. Written and recorded during a period of intense personal turmoil, the album explores the concepts of love and loss, togetherness and separation.
It also represents the next step in the continuing evolution of the sound of A Little Fire Scarecrow. There is at once more structure and more chaos; distant guitars ply their chords over discordant feedback and analog synth growls.
Distance features additional guitar and bass by Alva Snædís, and additional bass by Kevin Chatham.
